The Season We Wait For

There is something special about June.

All winter long, flower farmers dream about June.

We study seed catalogs, start tiny seeds under lights, watch weather forecasts, protect tender plants from frost, and wait.

And then one day, almost without noticing, June arrives.

The gardens begin to fill in. The peonies open. The herbs grow taller. Pollinators return. The rows that once looked empty begin to overflow with life.

For me, June is a reminder that growth often happens long before we can see it.

So much of life is like that.

We put in the work. We keep showing up. We trust the process even when progress feels slow.

Then suddenly, the things we've been hoping for begin to bloom.

This season has already been filled with beautiful moments. Workshops shared around flowers. New faces visiting the stand. Weddings. Conversations. Friendships. Small moments that remind me why I took a leap of faith and started this journey.

As I walk through the gardens each morning, I'm reminded that every flower blooms in its own time.

People do too.

If you're in a season of waiting, keep going.

Keep planting seeds.

Keep believing.

Your season will come.

For now, I'll be here enjoying the beauty of June, grateful for every bloom, every visitor, and every person who continues to support this little flower farm.

Thank you for being here.
