Embracing Love and Growth: February's Arrival on the Flower Farm

I absolutely loved the arrival of February here at the flower farm. After a peaceful and restful January, I felt rejuvenated and ready for what the new month would bring. As Valentine's Day approached, I was eager to share beautiful flowers with all of you. Working with flowers is a passion of mine, and because of your support, it has been even more fulfilling.

As I worked creating and wrapping bouquets I couldn't help but laugh—my office became nearly impossible to navigate! I’m so grateful for my husband, who was such an incredible support, especially during those long days leading up to Valentine's Day. Seeing your smiles and hearing your kind words made all of it worth it. The opportunity to open the stand, deliver and gift flowers truly filled my heart. I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude—THANK YOU!

During this time I also began preparing for the coming seasons. My husband generously let me use a corner of his woodshop, where I've been storing dahlia tubers and I began pre-sprouting my ranunculus. His support has truly been a blessing, and I couldn’t do it without him.

As I took some time in January to reflect and plan, I decided to introduce bouquet bars and begin pre-booking weddings for this season—specifically, smaller weddings. I’ve always loved the idea of bouquet bars, and I finally decided to make it happen. I’ve had the privilege of attending a bouquet bar at a bridal shower in the past, and I thought it was such a fantastic experience for guests to create their own bouquets to take home. I'm excited to bring this idea to life locally, and I’m opening a few spots for both weddings and bouquet bars.

In the coming weeks, I’ll be starting more seeds, as we grow everything from April through late October here at the farm. I feel so blessed to have the continued support of so many of you, especially those who have been with me from day one. Sharing this journey with you brings me so much joy, and I can’t wait to share the beauty of our flowers with you throughout the upcoming season.

We plan to open the stand on Wednesday, April 16th, just in time for Easter weekend. Until then, I’ll be taking some time to rest, recharge, and continue planting the seeds for the season ahead.

It's a blessing to think it all began with my perennial gardens. The creation of my very first bouquets from my own flowers. As I enter my third year, I couldn’t feel more blessed and thankful for all of you. Thank you for being a part of this journey!
